AD 150mg/100mg Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that is effective against a wide range of bacterial and parasitic infections. In children, it is used to treat infections of the urinary and gastrointestinal tract. Give AD 150mg/100mg Suspension to your child orally, with food, preferably at a fixed time. Giving it with food helps prevent the risk of developing a stomach upset. Always give the dose as prescribed by the doctor since that depends on the severity and type of infection, body weight, and age of your child. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but never double up the dose if it is time for the next dose.Some children may develop minor and temporary side effects after taking AD 150mg/100mg Suspension. These include nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps, red-brown urine, and mild skin rash. These side effects usually go away once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, in case they persist for long or start bothering your child, you must consult your child’s doctor without any delay.Your child’s doctor must be aware if your child has ever had any previous episode of allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. How it Works

AD 150mg/100mg Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Nalidixic Acid works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
