About this Medicine

Aplex Kit is a medicine used in treatment of psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. It reduces pain, swelling, and other symptoms of inflammation. This medicine is generally used when a patient does not respond to or is contraindicated to other conventional treatment. Aplex Kit may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as headache, diarrhea, nausea, runny nose, and nasal congestion. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. Let your doctor also know if you have any problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor first before taking this medicine.

How it Works

Aplex Kit is a combination of three different doses of Apremilast. It works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation (swelling) associated with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. This reduces the signs and symptoms of these conditions.
