Asmymax 400mg Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of liver disease associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis). It protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions. Asmymax 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on the severity of your condition and your body weight. It is best swallowed whole, but you may need to break them to get the correct dose. This medicine needs to be taken regularly to get the most benefit and you may have to take it for several months or longer, so try to get into a routine. Keep using it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear.Use of this medicine may cause some common side effects such as headache, dizziness, vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, and insomnia. Not everyone gets side effects. If you are worried about them, or they do not go away, let your doctor know. If you have problems with diarrhea your doctor may reduce the dose or stop the treatment. Asmymax 400mg Tablet contains S-Adenosyl L-Methoinine Disulfate Tosylate, also known as SAMe, a nutritional supplement, that can restore Glutathione concentrations in the liver and also improves liver damage. SAMe is also involved in many biochemical reactions in the human body that regulate the growth, death and differentiation of hepatocytes (liver cells).
