How it Works

Aztor B 80mg/180mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: atorvastatin and bempedoic acid. Atorvastatin helps lower cholesterol production by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, an enzyme essential for making cholesterol in the body. Bempedoic acid works by blocking the enzyme ATP citrate lyase which is also part of the natural cholesterol production process in the body naturally. In combination, both help improve the reduction in cholesterol.
