About this Medicine

Budesal Respules is a medicine used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It relaxes the airway muscles for easier breathing and reduces airway inflammation, helping control and prevent symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness associated with asthma and COPD. Follow the prescribed dosage and inhalation instructions instructed by your doctor. Use Budesal Respules regularly, even if you feel well, as this will help prevent symptoms from reoccurring. Rinse your mouth after each use to reduce the risk of mouth irritation. Avoid skipping doses as that will reduce the effectiveness of the medicine.Common side effects of Budesal Respules include headache, throat irritation, coughing, and hoarseness. These effects are usually temporary and may lessen as your body adjusts to the medicine. If you experience persistent throat irritation, gargling with warm water or using a throat lozenge may help alleviate the discomfort. If side effects become severe or do not improve, consult your doctor. While using Budesal Respules, avoid smoking or exposure to smoke, as it can worsen respiratory symptoms and reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. Do not use the medicine if you have a known history of allergic reactions to any components of Budesal Respules. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should discuss the risks and benefits of Budesal Respules with their doctor before starting the treatment.

How it Works

Budesal Respules is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol and Budesonide. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening the airways. Budesonide is a corticosteroid; it works by stopping the release of certain natural substances in the body that are responsible for inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier in individuals with asthma or COPD.
