About this Medicine

Candigem Tablet is a combination of four medicines. It is used in the treatment of fungal infections. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your physician. Take Candigem Tablet in the dose and duration prescribed by the doctor. Take it regularly and for as long as the doctor has prescribed. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Stopping taking the medicine midway may result in returning of the infection. Candigem Tablet is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms on taking the medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or treat the side effects. In case of any allergic reactions (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), it is advised to call for immediate medical help. Before using it, tell your doctor if you have an underlying disease or are taking medicines for any health condition. Ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are a known allergic to the medicine, you must refrain from using this medicine and consult your doctor. During the course of the treatment, you must follow proper personal hygiene for a faster recovery.

How it Works

Candigem Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Clotrimazole, Lactobacillus, Povidone Iodine and Tinidazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which works by producing anti-infectious substances. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic which slowly releases iodine and kills or prevents the growth of harmful microorganisms. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA.
