Cardiplegin Injection is a local anesthetic. It is used to numb tissues in a specific area. It acts by blocking the pain signals from the nerves to the brain. This action helps in decreasing the pain sensation. Cardiplegin Injection is given by a doctor or a nurse and should not be self administered. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps you.This medicine may cause few common side effects such as diarrhea, flatulence, stomach cramp, and increased urine production. If you experience any such side effects that bother you and do not go away, you should let your doctor know. Cardiplegin Injection is a combination of three medicines: Magnesium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride and Procaine. Magnesium Carbonate and Potassium Chloride replenish salt and electrolyte levels. Procaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain.
