Cembol Tablet is prescribed to treat various types of respiratory infections. It treats the infection by acting against the microorganisms. It also dilutes the thick mucus (phlegm) for easy cough out. It also prevents diarrhea which may occur as side effect of this medicine. Cembol Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, etc. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. How it Works

Cembol Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Ambroxol and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human body. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
