CGX-Tus Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment conditions like bronchitis, sinusitis, blocked nose and common cold symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and throat irritation. CGX-Tus Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. How it Works

CGX-Tus Syrup is a combination of dextromethorphan hydrobromide, menthol, and levocetirizine hydrochloride. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Levocetirizine hydrochloride is antihistaminic medication that treats allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Menthol works by producing a mild anesthetic action that relieves irritation and provides cooling sensation.
