Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop is a medicine used to treat ear infections, specifically otitis externa (inflammation of the outer ear canal). It kills the bacteria and stops their growth, which controls the infection. It also helps reduce inflammation, redness, and swelling, relieving pain and promoting faster healing. Use Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop in the exact dose and duration instructed by your doctor. For adults, instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear 3-4 times daily; for children, use 1-2 drops 3-4 times daily. Continue treatment until two days after symptoms disappear. This medication is not suitable for infants under 2 years of age or individuals with a perforated eardrum.Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop may cause mild irritation, itching, or redness in the treated ear. These side effects are generally temporary and should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or worsen, or if you experience unusual symptoms like rash, severe pain, or hearing changes, contact your doctor immediately.While using Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop, avoid inserting cotton swabs or other objects into your ear, as this can irritate the ear canal or worsen the infection. Do not use these ear drops if you have a ruptured eardrum or are allergic to any of the ingredients of this product.
