Ecoset Ear Drop is a medicine used to treat bacterial ear infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection in the ears. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as pain, itchiness, and irritation. Ecoset Ear Drop is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. Use it only on the affected ear. Use it regularly to get the most benefit. The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. Wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.Generally, this is a safe medicine. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation in the ear in some people. Ecoset Ear Drop is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin, Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
