It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium is an antispasmodic medicine which relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Milk Of Magnesia is a laxative that works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, making the stools soft and easier to pass.
