Equitrix PV Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat vertigo. It reduces the nerve signals sent from the inner ear to the brain and relieves the symptoms such as spinning sensation and loss of body balance. Equitrix PV Tablet also increases blood flow to the brain which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear and protects it from damage. It may be taken with or without food. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor, preferably at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment. Never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to the doctor.Some common side effects of using this medication are nausea, stomach upset, indigestion, rash, headache, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), nervousness, and abnormality of voluntary movements. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. This medicine may cause weight gain, therefore you should have a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
Equitrix PV Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Betahistine, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine improves blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear. Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine increase blood flow to the brain and protect it from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Piracetam works by further protecting brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.
