Esease Mini 0.5mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination medicine used for hormone replacement therapy. It is a mixture of female sex hormones that helps in relieving symptoms like hot flushes, vaginal dryness and irritation in postmenopausal women. Esease Mini 0.5mg/2.5mg Tablet should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time each day. This is done to ensure consistent levels of medicine in body. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.Nausea, headache, abdominal pain, weight gain, tiredness, and breast pain are some common side effects of this medicine. Consult with your doctor if menstrual irregularities such as spotting or bleeding between menstrual periods or missed periods happens or bothers you. Some serious side effects which mean immediate doctor consultation is required include unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, or changes in vision. It is advised to perform yoga, or avoid caffeinated products or alcohol while on treatment.Before taking Esease Mini 0.5mg/2.5mg Tablet, tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding, if you have ever had any problems with your blood circulation or have diabetes or stroke. How it Works
Esease Mini 0.5mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines: Estradiol and Dydrogesterone which are a part of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Estradiol works by restoring the falling levels of estrogen in the body which helps reduce distressing symptoms of menopause. However, it may affect the womb lining (endometrium) and increase the risk of endometrial cancer. Dydrogesterone is added to oppose the harmful effect of Estradiol on the womb lining and reduce cancer risk.
