About this Medicine

Eze Ram Tablet is used to prevent heart attack and stroke. It is a combination of medicines that help to control blood pressure, increased cholesterol levels and prevent clot formation. Eze Ram Tablet should be taken with food regularly at a fixed time each day. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise and not smoking may help this medicine to work better.Taste change, stomach pain, indigestion, and blurred vision are some common side effects of this medicine. This medicine increases your risk of bleeding, so it is important to be careful while shaving, cutting nails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football, wrestling). Some patients may develop cough or throat irritation as a side effect of this medicine. It may also produce dizziness initially, but this improves with time. It is advisable to avoid the intake of potassium rich food or supplements while taking this medicine as this medicine may raise the level of potassium in the blood. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. How it Works

Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the '__'bad'__' cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the '__'good'__' cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin is an antiplatelet medication. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Ramipril is a blood-pressure lowering medicine which works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
