About this Medicine

Gaspunch Tablet is used in the treatment of flatulence. It relieves discomfort and pain caused by excessive gas in the stomach and intestines in conditions like postoperative gaseous distention. This medicine is taken with meals preferably at bedtime in a dose and duration advised by the doctor. If you stop the treatment too early, your symptoms may come back and the condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications that you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.Gaspunch Tablet is generally safe with no common side effects. However, it may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, etc. in some people. Before taking this medicine, let the doctor know if you have kidney problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

How it Works

Gaspunch Tablet is a combination of two drugs named activated charcoal and simethicone. The extra spaces in the charcoal trap gas molecules, reducing the gas that causes bloating. Simethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It also restricts the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract.
