Gincid CMC Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease. It helps in relieving the symptoms of heartburn and acidity. It also neutralizes excessive acid in the stomach and helps in easy passage of gas. Gincid CMC Syrup may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.This medicine is  generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms on taking the medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help by adjusting the dosage or by prescribing you an alternative medicine.Before taking this medicine,  let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Let your doctor also know about if you have any liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

How it Works

Gincid CMC Syrup contains three active ingredients. Aluminium hydroxide neutralizes excess gastric acid. Magnesium hydroxide exerts a demulcent effect, protects gastrointestinal inner lining from irritation and erosion. Simethicone relieves painful pressure caused by excess gas in the stomach and intestines. Sodium carboxymethylcellulose provides stability to the formulation.
