Havshield 250IU Injection protects against hepatitis A, which is a serious liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV), that spreads via contact with contaminated food or water. It is given as 2 shots, 6 to 12 months apart. Both shots are needed for long-term protection. Havshield 250IU Injection is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse.
