Hemlibra 60mg Injection is a medicine used to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes in both adult and pediatric patients with hemophilia A. This medicine helps the blood to clot normally, which helps prevent bleeding due to hemophilia A. Hemlibra 60mg Injection is generally given by a doctor or a nurse. Do not self-administer. The injection can be given in the thighs, upper arm, or in the abdomen. The dose and duration of the treatment will depend on your medical condition and how you respond to the treatment. Get the injection regularly for as long as the doctor has prescribed.The most common side effects of this medicine are injection site reactions (such as pain, redness, or swelling), headache, and joint pain. If you experience any of these side effects or any other symptoms on receiving the injection, let your doctor know. They may be able to help on how to reduce the side effects.Do not use Hemlibra 60mg Injection, if you have a known history of being allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine. Let your doctor also know about your medical history and all the medicines you are taking. Women of childbearing potential should use contraception while on treatment with this medicine and for 6 months after the last dose. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should ask their doctors for advice before using this medicine.

In people with hemophilia A who have low or missing factor VIII, the blood coagulation process cannot continue normally. Hemlibra 60mg Injection acts like a bridge, bringing factor IXa and factor X together to allow the blood coagulation process to continue without needing to replace factor VIII.
