Ketsol Plus Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of allergic eye diseases. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort. Ketsol Plus Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Use it for as long as your doctor has prescribed it to get maximum benefits. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.The most common side effects include burning, stinging, and blurred vision at the site of application, and photophobia. If these side effects persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Ketsol Plus Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Ketorolac and Phenylephrine which relieve eye discomfort caused by allergies. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to further relieve inflammation.
