Kolki-Plus Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, Ambroxol, and Paracetamol. Cetirizine is an antihistamine. It treats allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itching by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Ambroxol is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs making it easier to cough out. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. This is how it works to relieve the symptoms of common cold.
