Kolontox-Gl Capsule is a combination of pre- and probiotics used to treat diarrhea. It restores a healthy balance of gut bacteria, enhances the natural defense mechanisms of the gut, and maintains the integrity of the gut lining. These actions reduce the severity and duration of diarrhea and speed up the healing. Kolontox-Gl Capsule helps improve the overall working of the digestive system. It may be taken with or without food. However, always take this medicine in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking it for as long as your doctor prescribes it even if the symptoms disappear as they might reoccur if the medication is stopped abruptly.Some common side effects of this medicine include bloating, abdominal discomfort, and flatulence. How it Works

Upon oral administration, the bacteria in Kolontox-Gl Capsule help modulate the composition of the normal microflora and maintain adequate colonization of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Upon colonization of the GIT, the probiotic bacteria form a protective barrier that helps maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier. This barrier interferes with the attachment of pathogenic bacteria and other harmful substances, prevents inflammation, and improves gastrointestinal function. Inulin aids digestion by increasing the number of good bacteria in the gut, particularly Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli.
