Nasofine Nasal Cream is a combination of two medicines. It is used to treat nasal infections. It has antimicrobial action that kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria. This way it reduces the redness, swelling, and itchiness and helps in the rapid healing of infection. Nasofine Nasal Cream should be used as you have been advised by your doctor. Read the label for instruction before using it. Use it regularly for as long as it has been prescribed. However, do not use it too often or longer than you have been prescribed.This medicine is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause irritation, burning sensation, and discomfort at the site of application. These effects are mild and go away in time, but if they stay for a long duration, consult the doctor. Before using this medicine, let your doctor know if you are using any other medicine for the same condition or for treatment of other medical conditions.
How it Works
Nasofine Nasal Cream is a combination of two medicines: Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Neomycin, that treats skin infections. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant which works by binding strongly with skin. It kills infectious microorganisms and effectively cleans out cuts, wounds and burns to prevent them from getting infected. Neomycin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
