PD Lyte P Infusion is a combination medicine that is used for the treatment of short term fluid replacement after trauma or heavy blood loss. It replenishes the body fluid and prevents dehydration. PD Lyte P Infusion injection is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. You are not advised to self administer this injection. Inform your doctor if you have any known allergy from this medication.You may experience symptoms of injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, and pain. Usually, they go away with time but if these symptoms persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any disease or are taking any medicines.This medicine may increase the levels of protein in the body, thus blood test is recommended during the ongoing treatment.
How it Works
PD Lyte P Infusion is a combination of six medicines: Calcium Phosphate, Dextrose, Magnesium, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Acetate, and Sodium Metabisulphite. They work by restoring blood plasma lost due to severe bleeding. Plasma is required to circulate red blood cells that deliver oxygen throughout the body.
