About this Medicine
Piledac Plus Cream is a combination medicine used in the treatment of piles. It relieves redness, itching, swelling, irritation, and promotes healing of piles. It blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain to decrease the sensation of pain. Piledac Plus Cream is for external use only. Before using the medicine check the label for directions of use and apply gently on the clean and dry affected area. You should always wash your hands after applying it.
How it Works
Piledac Plus Cream is a combination of six medicines: Lidocaine, Calcium Dobesilate, Hydrocortisone, Phenylephrine, Zinc Oxide and Troxerutin. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which blocks pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. Calcium Dobesilate and Troxerutin are vasoprotective medicines which strengthen the blood vessels in the affected area.and promoting healing. Hydrocortisone is a steroid which reduces redness, itching, and swelling. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks the swollen blood vessels to further relieve itching and irritation in piles. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action.
