About this Medicine
Rebagen-Otic Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat age-related hearing loss (presbycusis). It works by preventing cell damage and removing toxic substances. It also prevents further hearing loss. Rebagen-Otic Capsule should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine or have any known allergy to any components of this medicine.The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, constipation, bloating, or diarrhea. If these symptoms persist for a longer duration, consult your doctor. Before using this medicine, ask the advice of your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How it Works
Rebagen-Otic Capsule is a combination of three medicines. Rebamipide protects the mucosa and also helps in healing. Alpha Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage. Acetylcysteine removes toxic substances. All together they work to prevent the hearing in old age and prevents hearing loss.
