Reflora Z Capsule is a medicine used to treat infectious diarrhea. It restores a healthy balance of gut bacteria, enhances the natural defense mechanisms of the gut, and maintains the integrity of the gut lining. Reflora Z Capsule is a combination of two probiotics and a mineral. Lactic acid bacillus can produce lactic acid which lowers the pH of the gut and creates an environment that is less favorable for pathogenic bacteria to thrive. It may also help in the fermentation of certain dietary fibers, thus aiding in the digestion and the production of short-chain fatty acids that nourish the gut lining. Saccharomyces boulardii helps maintain the balance of good bacteria by competing with harmful microorganisms for resources. Zinc can help support the integrity of the gut lining, as it is involved in the repair and maintenance of the mucosal barrier in the digestive tract.
