Ripatec T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It decreases the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. This way the symptoms are relieved. Ripatec T Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instructions before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Also, do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed on the label.This medicine is generally safe and has no side effects. However, it may cause a burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the site of application. These effects are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of its accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse the area with water.Inform the doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine, or if you are taking any other medication. Ripatec T Eye Drop is a combination of ripasudil and timolol. Ripasudil has high intraocular permeability and works by reducing intraocular pressure and enhancing flow facility, resulting in a decrease in the elevated fluid pressure in the eyes. Timolol is a beta blocker that works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
