Sunray SF Syrup is a medicine used to treat dry cough. It works by directly suppressing the cough reflex in the brain. It also produces a cool sensation and relieves minor throat irritation as well as provides relief from allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Sunray SF Syrup should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Check the label before use. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine or have any known allergy from this medicine.The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headache, and sleepiness. If these symptoms persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or suffering from any other disease.
How it Works
Sunray SF Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate.\tPhenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine are antiallergics which relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
