Tacvido Forte Oral Gel is a medicine used to treat oral lichen planus. It provides relief from inflammation caused by this disease. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel works by blocking calcineurin, an enzyme that activates T lymphocytes and causes inflammation associated with lichen planus. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel should be applied on the site of lesion inside the mouth. Follow the doctor’s instruction and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms after a week you should talk to your doctor.It is a safe medicine with little or no side effects. However, it may cause transient burning sensation immediately after application. In general, it should not be used by anyone who has a weakened immune system.
