UV-Tec Cream is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation. It helps in quick skin renewal. It provides relief from redness, swelling, and itching.UV-Tec Cream should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is for external use only.The common side effects of this medicine include burning, irritation, itchiness, and redness at the application site. UV-Tec Cream is a combination of three medications. Hydroquinone decreases the formation of melanin (pigment) in the skin. It lightens the dark patches of skin. Octinoxate works by absorbing UV rays, thus stopping or at least slowing down the destruction of healthy skin cells. It also decreases the risk of skin cancer and other skin reactions caused by sunburn. Oxybenzone absorbs ultraviolet radiation and prevents it from reaching the deeper layers of the skin.
