Zipvert-B6 Tablet is a prescription medicine having a combination of medicines that are used to treat vertigo. It helps in relieving the feeling of sickness, nausea, and vomiting. It also helps in controlling motion sickness. Zipvert-B6 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor.It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients. The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, dyspepsia, weight gain, drowsiness, sleepiness and dizziness. If any of these side effects worsen with time, please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medicine is safe to use in patients of liver and kidney diseases. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any disease or are taking any medicines. It is strictly advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery while you are on the treatment as this medicine may make you feel sleepy or dizzy. It is advised to avoid intake of alcohol while taking this medicine.
How it Works
Zipvert-B6 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cinnarizine, Dimenhydrinate and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Cinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the micro-circulation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine (anti-allergic). It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for motion sickness. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a nutritional supplement that possesses anti-nausea properties and helps in proper functioning of nerves.
