About this Medicine

Vinderm + Cream is a medicine used to treat various types of skin infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungus. It kills and stops the growth of microorganisms that cause the infections. It also minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. Vinderm + Cream is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not use it in more than the recommended amount as that can increase its absorption and cause side effects. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse these areas with cold water.This medicine is generally safe to use with no common side effects. However, if you experience any unusual side effects from applying this medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help by changing the medicine or reducing its dose.It is unlikely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way Vinderm + Cream works, but inform your doctor in case you are taking any other medicines. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also consult their doctors before using this medicine.

How it Works

Vinderm + Cream is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin , Fluocinolone acetonide and Clotrimazole which treats skin infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi on skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
